I was given a gift certificate to Mary The Skin Care. I found the salon to be very posh and upscale. I wouldn't expect otherwise since the salon was located on Maiden Lane, in the heart of San Francisco. It has since moved to a new location though. The Mary The salon offers a wide variety of services as well as products tailored to you. I found the Mary The staff friendly, professional, and knowledgable. This salon, however, is a bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it if you want to treat yourself.
I had a facial and my aesthetician was very friendly and did a great job with my extractions. My skin looked and felt great after my facial treatment. I was recommended some products, which I did purchase. I was not pressured though. I particularly liked their Colorescience retractable dispensing brush that dispenses a powder foundation that is SPF 20. It's similiar to the Bare Essentials powder but the powder is dispensed out of a convenient brush. I also like which actually helps fill in large pores. These are both great products. Again, pricey though!
Overall, I felt very pampered and my skin felt and looked great after my treatment. I would highly recommend this salon when you feel like splurging on yourself!

They recommend products which best suits your skin type. They really make your visit worth while, my aesthetician would always completely thorough extraction, even though that it hurts. Everytime I exit Mary The, everybody says that my face is very clean. Although it is kind of pricey, I would still travel 45 minutes to Mary The every month, and it is worth it.
It took me years and many skin care professionals before I found Mary The's Salon. This is by far the most outstanding group of skin care professionals I've ever found. They are extremely knowledgeable of products and treatments. They don't recommend services, or products to make money. Recommendations are given for your own knowledge and understanding; what you do with the information is your responsibility. Clients from all over the world come to Mary The's because it is simiply the "BEST"!
An awesome experience at Mary Thé each and every time. As a long time client I have each time experience the most wonderful treatment by the friendly, experience and professional staff. I cannot say enough about the treatment I get from Mary and her staff. Heavenly.and very special. They have always taylored to my personal needs.
